Could not write to key file!

Postby webjedi on Fri Aug 29, 2008 12:24 pm

Has anyone figured out what this means?
What key file?
I understand it wants a CHMOD of 755 or 777 but I dont know what file it is...

Any help?

these files are in the smartway directory and end in

.conf

change permissions to 777 on all files with this extension

Well in version 1.3 (maybe 1.3.5) I dont have any .conf files but conf.xml files throughout.
Pretty much the WHOLE smartway dir is CHMOD 777.

Could there be an error.php or an error.log file that I inadvertantly deleted that it wants to write to ?

The error occurs when I upload smartway/lib/license.lib file.
The comf.xml has the proper license number
and all seems to CHMOD properly.

What is license trying to write to?
