editing templates

Postby andy on Wed Feb 13, 2008 8:00 pm

I have just installed template one and have tried to edit the index page with the wysiwyg editor and I have tried the cpanel editor .
Just changing the words wellcome to webdate to wellcome to andysdating causes the index page to move the browse table from the left side to the bottom of the page
I contacted support and they said to make sure i was using the correct format

I recommend you use dreamweaver to edit your html

I have heard nothing but problems with the editor...

you are better off if you don't have access to dreamweaver to use a standard text editor to change the text in these files...

cpanel should be able to edit the files as text... then just make sure you change the text only and not the code....

if you need help with this email me your index.html.... with the text you want and I will put it in for you.....
