EMAILS GOING TO SPAM

Postby mike44 on Mon Dec 29, 2008 12:29 pm

Can anyone give me some advice? First of all I am not trying to spam people, but all the emails I sent out from my site, even to registered users, are being sent directly to their spam folders. The only way to prevent this is if the user actually goes into their spam folder and moves it to the inbox. They are told this at several points in the registration process, but often fail to do it. We are a new site- I have tried changing the email address of my site to no avail. Anyone have any experience with this?? Thanks

This happened to me before. but it was yahoo mail going to the spam folder.

usually this will happen with a particular mail server. is it yahoo?

if so you can contact them to get it resolved.

you need to email this address mail-abuse-bulk@cc.yahoo-inc.com

they will ask you to answer some questions and then clear your ip.
