Hi, I am trying to solve a translation issue in webdate and, after trying support from main webscribble.com, they've asked for more money, despite the site not being working for a long time and still having bugs.

There are 2 main issues:

First issue: using multilang feature, while trying to change from one language to another, despite the right translation of "Male" and "Female" in both 2 new languages and adding more to genders, in both languages is still displayed in English, not allowing new users to register/ search in the proper language they select. Also, even if in English appears corrrectly "Male looking for Female" in any other language this changes to "Female looking for Female", not in translated language but in English, too. The website is here: http://www.tedoresc.com/.

Second issue: how could be added more icons to main chat? Also, is there a way to configure only one chat room (for example "main") and go directly there when users select Chat?

This is anyway funny to be asked to pay for support, despite the fact that is a bug and not a proper support issue in multilang feature.

Hello,

it doesnt make any sence to continue this way, cause your problem with multilanguage is a very well known bug produced by webscribble, nevertheless they continue selling that shit. I asked them to work on these bug already 2 years ago and I did not even get an answer. Webscribble is only one young russian who doesnt live in the us. When he gets money he even works less, was my expirience. You only can use "male" and "female" as it originally is, nothing else, no couples, no mujeres or hombres it will cause errors. You can translate it and use it in many languages but only with the english gender expressions. As well in the browse part of webdate the countries and so on dont show the translations on the site. As well in backend you will have problems with the admin messages, user get them all in english...

The script has as well some good features, cause is fast even with large database and easy to handle. But alle the bugs in the modules and the script itself are a neverending story. They would better do to work on it than every 6 month developing another outgoing script. But this russian guy has no clue about programing and for every new bug he is looking on freelancer for help...

Very interesting point of view ... Could be right, but untill now, they've respond to me quite fast. The problem is that this bug is there for centuries, they solve it once for me, but as I had no time for continuing the project and also moved everything on a new server, now they are asking more money for a bug they're aware still exists ... Pitty, 'cause this will force everyone to look somewhere else for a better script. I rather contract myself a freelance, give him 50$ and solve the problem, instead paying them 140$ to solve a bug they made.
