License

Postby webdatesucks on Sat Apr 12, 2008 7:27 pm

I'm not sure if I have a software problem or something else. A week ago I downgraded my hosting with godaddy from deluxe to economy then that's when things changed. No when I go to my site glbt-match.com this message appears: "The software license has been disabled. Please contact the site administrator". I checked in Admin the site settings and everything is correct. Anybody have a clue?
BTW, it's been great reading the posts here.

The problem seems to be in your php version

The problem does not seem to be in the webscribble script.

I had a look and some of the functions are not running properly

contact godaddy and ask them if your version of php was changed when this downgrade was made.

it seems your php software on the server side is most likely the cause of this

if you are still having trouble on wednesday I will dig a bit deeper but I am very busy until then.

get that info from your host and let me know

I can't believe my site isn't working again. I actually got through to webscribble support Tuesday, and suddenly my site was up and running. Now, it's disabled again. I wonder if anyone else is having problems with license.

Is there any way to turn off license checking for WebDate 3.0? I keep getting license disabled errors every couple of weeks and the site is down until support can enable it again. I had this same issue on multiple hosts so I doubt it is a hosting issue. I'm on GoDaddy now.
