OK, I've gotten used to ignoring the idiocy of letters from my website to myself that say
User: xxxx has created/modified his/her profile. You can view it in your .
In my what? In my blank period?
Anyhow, today I get an email from a customer that says:
On 7/20/08, Velma Smith <xxxxxxxx@yahoo.com> wrote:
I got 3 e=mails telling me my member# is 009996... when I logon however, I am listed under another #.
What gives?
So I researched this and my response is:
Your member # is 012246, Your profile # is 9996. The numbers mean that you are the 12,246th member but the 9,996th to fill in a profile. I don't know why the software is telling you anything about the profile #, because there's no-where that you're asked for it. WIll you forward one of the emails to me? Are they all approval letters?
Thanks,
Mutton
Sure enough, in my mail comes
