skadate

Postby flappo on Sat Apr 05, 2008 2:24 pm

my site only has 1158 people however it keeps crashing. between 6pm - and 10 pm every other day for a certain amount of time i notice the site is down. i have gotten half a dozen complaints so far. i am not even making any money yet. i asked advice from skadate customer service and they politely told me to "go _uck myself". anyways, i personally do not recommend skadate! i have spent lots of money and now apparently i have some anonymous members badmouthing my site! these anonymous members began their campaigns when i first complained to skadate which has brought me to believe that they may have something to do with it.

they claim the issue was not with my bandwidth however, they also claim that there is no problem despite the fact that 7 people have seen the issue first hand. they simply choose to not recognize the problem! the worst service in history!

Flappo,

Although this forum is to discuss bugs with php and dating site scripts.. We are here to try and solve the issue .

As you can see from the other post.. there are bugs with virtually all scripts and the goal is to fix them..

So lets get some more detail on your site bug

it may be possible this bug is happening while the software is running a task... (this is the first thing that comes to mind)

if the site is set to send out match emails at a certain time... users loging in at the wrong time could get a locked up page..

this same bug can happen in webdate... if it is this causing your issue I would recommend finding the code that is executing at that point and set it to run on a cron job rather than when a user visits the site...

anyway give me your website url and the time this usually happens and I will see if I can experience the bug... does your site send out reminder emails???

you can post your site here or pm me if you want to keep it private..

Also PM me your ftp info and I will try and see what is running on the site that is causing the lockup.
