Corrupted encode files.
First do you guys have a preferred FTP program that prevents this from happening?
I think that dreamweaver 8 is adding little bits to the files and thus corrupting them I don't know.

Has anyone figured out a surefire was to keep this from happening?

use smartftp and make sure you click on binary transfer... this is only needed for the smartway folder sometimes

I think my smartway/lib/functions.lib actually IS corrupted.
Does anyone have a version 1.3 functions.lib that they can zip and send me?
